Meet Material Green
Hello, I'm Jeanine Williams founder of Material Green. My love for fabric and design started at the age of 12. I love mixing patterns and colors with a twist on traditional and a touch of whimsy. When I'm not busy working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. You can also view my work on Facebook and Instagram.
My Story
I have always had a passion for sewing. When I was 12, I asked my mother to show me how to thread a sewing machine and the rest is history. I attended college for graphic design and have always loved colors and patterns.
In 1993, I moved to St. James City, FL from my hometown of Springfield, MO. While living here in SWFL, I pursued my passion for design with a position at Williiams-Sonoma, and then later as Design Manager for David Weekly Homes. Years of working in a design center furnishing models, spec homes, and making virtual displays have brought me to where I am today.
Material Green was born in our garage in 2008. In 2019 I moved into an industrial space in Cape Coral. This space allowed me to work on custom jobs and my own creations as well.
In September of 2023, I moved to my current location in Bokeelia. The space was large enough for workspace plus retail. As the saying goes, "you'll never work a day in your life if you love what you're doing!"
